Georgian transliteration

Latin

gamarjoba, tbilisi!

Cyrillic

гамарджоба, тбилиси!

The apostrophe marks the ejectives: k’ is კ, k is ქ. Signs and maps often leave it out. From Cyrillic, х becomes ხ (ჰ is х too).

Letter by letter

The Latin is Georgia’s national system, used on road signs and in passports. Open a letter to hear it.
